This policy statement sets out the basis on which we will use the personal information you supply to us directly yourself or supplied to us by a third party. Mountview is responsible for the processing of the personal information you supply and is registered with the Information Commissioners Office under the UK Data Protection Act 2018, registration number ZA448610.
Mountview is an independent debt capital advisory firm based in the UK. We arrange finance across commercial property and residential property, funding for property development funding, and debt and equity for renewable energy projects. Our business is “B2B” and the privacy policy reflects this.
You should read this policy alongside other documentation issued by us such as our Letter of Engagement or third parties with whom we work, which may provide further information on confidentiality.

In this policy reference to you is to:

How long do we keep your personal information for?

If our engagement does not proceed we will retain the data for three years.
Marketing Data will be reviewed and if we consider that our relationship with you is too historic and consequently there is no longer a benefit for Mountview to market to you we will automatically and without reference to you remove your marketing data.
Changes of ownership
Mountview may from time to time sell or transfer the control of the company. Any personal information supplied by you where relevant to the part of the business being sold or transferred will be transferred to the new owner or controlling party and will continue to be used under the terms of this policy for the purposes that the personal information was originally supplied to us.
